50 weeks out of the year, my dad was a mild mannered, buttoned down banker, but for the two weeks prior to Halloween, he transformed into a combo of Bela Lugosi and Christopher Lee as..."The Count." For 20 years, hundreds of people flocked to our house (aka The Haunted Castle) and endured the maze of horrors in the basement, to the great delight of my father. A retro podcast on my Halloween memories, and a bit of radio theater as I read "The Tell-Tale Heart" to wrap up this All Hallows Eve broadcast.

This is the Sarge (werewolf), this Podcast was just great, brings back so any memories! My wife Marie (the Gypsy), loved her part! Dracula (my best friend back then) taught me the love of horror, the Adrenaline building up waiting for an innocent person to come by and scare the beep out of them! Miss Dracula so much! Still, at times I hear things in my house thinking he’s checking on me, especially at Halloween!
